Jenna Piva Laramie is a higher education and career services professional with a background in mental health. Like most military spouses, she has a career path that has given her various experiences. Jenna began her career as a School-Based Health Clinician in Groton, CT. After that, she worked as a Military and Family Life Counselor in Coronado, CA, where she gained an appreciation for working with service members and their families.
The Navy then sent Jenna and her husband to Bloomington, IN, where she began her career in Career Services for Indiana University. Jenna coached countless students, developed and implemented numerous programs for college students (including targeted programming for veterans and military-connected students) and taught college-level career courses each semester.
Jenna is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and a National Association of Colleges and Employers member. She has also earned a Veterans at Work Certificate from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She graduated from Boise State University with a BS in Social Sciences and a Master of Arts in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
